For today’s OOTD I throw it back to the end of the summer in London. With the beautiful Wembley Stadium as a backdrop, I decided to spice a leopard print with a pop of color.  The mint color of the blouse and the leopard print, together looked perfect. It gives the right contrasts between prints without looking too overwhelming. The accessories and bag were kept neutral to keep the focus on the clothing. I am definitely looking forward to styling these high waisted trousers more! Happy Weekend!

” I got to say I miss cold weather and layering! Living on this beautiful island can sometimes get a little too hot. The weather has been nice to us recently and has calmed and cooled down a bit and I have enjoyed this immensely. For today’s OOTD I decided to break out the leather and the fringes and the faux fur gillets. Hey, go big or go home, right? I just love the neutrality of this outfit and how the turquoise of the statement necklace makes everything come together. I added the little belt to accentuate my waist although it can also be worn loosely. I decided to layer the necklaces because I am a bit obsessed with the little dainty  necklace and the turquoise reminds me of my favorite princess, Pocahontas. I would love to pair this outfit with nude booties, but its not cold enough for that. So on our less than hot nights, I will be throughly enjoying this outfit!”

“God knows I love a good striped shirt, and when I came home and raided my sister’s closet, I found this gorgeous striped bodysuit and I knew I had to wear it! It provides both comfort and versatility. For this week’s OOTD I decided to pair the bodysuit with overalls. It is still pretty hot in this lovely island of Puerto Rico, therefore, sunny days out in shorts are very much acceptable. I wore some mid-heel shoes and  let me tell you they are soooo comfy! I also decided to clash prints and added a skinny leopard print belt to clash the snakeskin on my shoes and the stripes. The pop of color is provided by the clutch and accessories were kept minimal!”

Monochrome & Bold Statements

“I am in love with these shoes! They are so different and make such a statement in an outfit! The tassels alongside the bright green color makes the entire outfit. I chose the monochromatic look in all black to accompany them and make the colors really pop. I kept the accessories simple (clutch, earrings, bracelets) in order to focus all the attention on the shoes. However, I found this statement necklace from Baublebar and I KNEW it was the perfect match. The difference in texture with the pants and the blouse also contribute to the outfit without it looking too dull. I can’t wait to keep styling and incorporating these shoes into other outfit choices!”

” I just love the contrasting colors of the playsuit with the colorful streets and house-fronts of Old San Juan. They just go hand in hand. This playsuit is perfect for Petite girls, because well, it is made FOR petites by Topshop! I am obsessed over the bright colors and proportionate patterns and the cut out details of the piece. I am also wearing these fabulous cork heels and let me just point out, I hate white shoes. They remind me of nurses shoes and it is still a huge no for me. However, when I saw these , I had to try them on and I LOVE THEM and they are super comfy too! They perfect for daytime and for a casual night look! Needless to say, they are my new favorites!”

“For today’s OOTD I bring you one of my favorites staples combined: stripes and playsuits. I love how comfortable this playsuit is and how many possibilities of styling it has! Today I decided to pair it up with neutral accessories to keep the attention on the playsuit. This is a perfect example of an outfit that can transition easily from day to night. During the day, keep the makeup neutral and simple and during the night, add a bold red lip and some heels or wedges and you are good to go! Now that I am back in warm weather, I can’t wait to wear the heck out of this playsuit! This playsuit is also perfect for petite girls because it does not drown the figure and provides flattering coverage. The flats are so comfy! I am absolutely in love with them and the price is super affordable! “

OOTD- Grey and Green

IMG_7203

IMG_7198

“For the F/W 2014 season, grey is a predominant colour across all colour palettes and themes. I decided to incorporate this fall colour into our hot climate. This basic grey tshirt is my newest obsession, not only because it is so darn comfy, but also because it provides endless outfit possibilities. I paired this shirt with a green printed short, that provides dimension due to its texture and bright colour. I kept my accessories simple and neutral to focus all the attention on the short/tshirt combo. I chose gold to accesorize with, so that the grey could pop even more”
